August 25, 2022 - This wine is a bit uninspired on its own but it does pair relatively well with food. The malbec notes dominate which is not really what I want in a blend. It's held up well with time though. Drinking nicely, no signs of oxidation. Don't think it's going to get any better though.
June 6, 2022 - Complex Bordeaux style. Might not pair with milder foods.
February 4, 2022 - Very nice. On the back 9 for sure but not tired by any means. Really lush, and complex palate with fresh raspberry, plum, dried fig, earth, a touch of umami and mushroom. Really nice with steak tips and risotto.

May 12, 2017 - This particular bottle of wine has been in our cellar for awhile. It was stored at 55 degrees and decanted for 4 hours. Iit opened up beautifully... Really a spectacular wine.
April 30, 2017 - Still nice wine but I feel much has faded except oak. Light acidity but drinkable without food. I waited about 1yr too long for my personal tastes.
May 12, 2016 - Reminded me very much of the fantastic 2010. Classic structure. This is what about $50 should buy you in a Cal cab but rarely does.
