January 15, 2016 - Great nose of dark fruit, pure flavors, just right tannins, long finish. Balanced wine. Very enjoyable. No off, chemically or medicinal flavors as in some B&H bottles in the past with synthetic clorks.

February 15, 2015 - I read many reviews concerned with VA but I didn't get this at all. Decanted for about an hour before dinner and wine was still drinking great. Black raspberry and blueberries, a long 45 second finish. I think my last B&H under synthetic cork.

November 3, 2011 - I thought this was great! Lovely colour, beautiful fruit, and a looong finish. So much better than the 1997 Cuvee Lola that I tried alongside.

August 9, 2009 - Surprise, surprise! No off-putting odors or impressions, even with the plastic cork! I pulled the cork and wondered whether a disaster lay ahead of pleasure. Just a lovely bottle of wine. Nice tannins, good finish, oaky, curranty and very enjoyable.

April 5, 2008 - Bright nose beaming with fruit...high alcohol...starts out smooth and turns harsh in the mid-palate...air shows this is not an age worthy candidate...maybe too much extraction here...balance, no

January 9, 2007 - Great B and H! The usual up front fruit but with more structure and elegance. Sorry to say only have one left.

December 27, 2005 - This is a top notch B&H. They did a good job not crossing the line into an after dinner drink with this one. That said, this is still a ripe, sweet, extracted cab blend, but its bursting with flavor. I suppose you could try to age this and see what happens, but no real reason not to drink now.
