  July 18, 2019 - It has been almost a year since we last had this wine. It is still solid, but not particularly improving. Will drink the remainder (4 bottles) over the next couple of years.

  April 25, 2019 - Shy aroma of plums in syrup, with hints of flowers, orange peel, and cinnamon. Smooth layers of dry fruit and tannin on the palate, with a sweet salty back note moving into a penetrating acid finish. Frail but clear with a firm spine, generous in a wizened way. [Cheers to CellarTracker on its 15th anniversary!]

  August 9, 2018 - This wine is still drinking very nicely. I purchased it a little over a year ago from KLWM, and I believe it had been held back by the winery and cellared there. Probably optimal conditions. As mentioned previously by reviewers, it simply needs an hour or so to open and does not require decanting, nor is there any sediment. Still very nice aroma of tar and fruit, with mixed berry flavor and resolved tannin. Although it is ready to drink now, it will likely do well for at least several more years.
