August 5, 2016 - A year later and very similar to the last tasting note. The acidity is peaking a bit so drink up. But a very well made wine.

March 16, 2015 - This is a beautifully balanced pinot with rich red fruit and vibrant acidity on the finish. Needs to decant for a few hours to get the best out of it.

October 28, 2013 - A full throttle, exotic and ripe, yet cool climate structure Sonoma Coast Pinot! Exotic wood smoke and spice....black cherry, raspberry fruit...cherry cola/sour cranberry skin tingle.....wonderful florals...spice garden, dusty tobacco, vanilla bean, dried oranges/roses....alive with crisp acidity and a balanced creamy mouthfeel. Full flavored goodness here.....super stuff!

August 4, 2013 - This is a pinot noir that needs to be decanted. Tight and high acidity at the begenning. Upon opening, crimson color, very distinctive strawberry and fragrant floral nose, so fragrant that it might discourage you. The following evening, though, it became beautiful, elegant, complex, with long finish. Not an ordinary pinot noir.

June 27, 2013 - Decent nose with tart cherry mid and hot finish. Much jammier than the Van Der Kamp. Not my favorite wine from this producer, and that's by a significant margin.

June 13, 2013 - Enjoyed this Sonoma Coast pinot noir with 2 lobster tails at Mamas Fish House in Maui. Purchased before headed to the restaurant in the town of Paia at the Wine Corner. With a $30ish price tag and another $35 corking fee at the restaurant…this pinot was still tasty but not by much. I (MM) tend to prefer pinots from the Sonoma Coast this one however while tasty still needed some age. After 1 hr in a decanter the wine opened up and went down smooth
