November 22, 2018 - Somewhat dead. It's there but the fruit seems to have gone away. Nothing wrong per se, just nothing exciting. Maybe it's just too late or maybe this was an off bottle. I'm disappointed.

April 17, 2018 - Last tasted five years ago, and hasn't lost a beat. This is still an amazing Pinot Noir. A complex wine with a long finish, cherries, black raspberries, plums. and blackberries with some earthiness, floral, and spice. Medium to full bodied, wow! 96-97

April 4, 2018 - Excellent wine. Similar experience to the other reviews: intense ripe black fruit, plums and black cherries. Great silky mouth feel and balance, has aged well. Classic Kistler.

March 5, 2018 - Fortunately, this bottle was much fresher than the 7/29/17 bottle. Still very intense and persistent on the palate. Drink up!

July 29, 2017 - Unlike the 8/15/11 bottle, this wine was showing a disturbing oxidized character in the mid-palate and was badly reduced. After some swirling and time, some of the oxidized character and all the the reduction was eliminated. The wine showed a deep red color with no signs of oxidation and lots of ripe fruit. As I have 5 more bottles, I am hoping this was just an off bottle.
