May 15, 2021 - Everyone agrees it tastes like mr.'s pisss. This bottle maybe corked or slightly carrot juice.
October 22, 2018 - No particular change in two years maybe a little less intensity.
November 10, 2017 - Nicely complex. Tart acidity. Just the right amount of straw flor expression. I'd say this is a drink sooner than later bottle at this point.
October 18, 2016 - From memory. Savory, vinous, and slightly oxidative, somewhere between a traditional Jura chardonnay blend and straight savagnin, but slightly softer than the 2005.
April 24, 2016 - Quick Note, great nose, lemon zest and oxidative notes of nuts, but well integrated. Great balance on the palate with forgiving bright fruits and good acidity. Good stuff
February 27, 2014 - Lovely nutty, Sherry like notes on the nose. Delicate, focused palate with lots of fresh fruit and carrying acidity. Really terrific and subtle. The fruit seems to have some weight to it but the balance was never in doubt. Very nice.
November 11, 2012 - Jurafest 2012, Day 3 (E&R Wine Shop, Portland OR): Really funky, seemingly volatile acidity here. Spicy and off putting oxidative qualities here. Really funky palate, but also metallic and off putting. It's like a mix of tart apples and grated steel bits. Really bad flavor. Bitter finish, and again oxidative qualities with more metals mixed with apples. Really unpleasant.
October 31, 2012 - Delicious wine, oxidized Jura style. If opening now I would recommend an hour or so decant, the flavors come together a lot more with air.
September 12, 2012 - very good. saline, hazelnuts, seaweed. balanced with pleasant oxidation, long dry finish.
September 12, 2012 - A big savage beast of a white wine. Had a paint thinner element to the nose and harshness on the palate. I wasn't into this one.
