September 13, 2010 - Lignier-Michelot Visit and Tasting (Morey St.-Denis): Tasting at winery. Perhaps my favorite wine of the lineup, this is incredibly perfumed with lots of nuanced floral along with red and black fruit. Dense, ripe fruit with great balance and textures. The middle seemed a bit awkward, but this was also just racked the week before. 50% whole cluster, 100% new oak. 50% metayage and 50% purchased from family. To me this has 92-95 point potential.
