September 3, 2021 - The Divine Kiss vintage 1999 - still a stunningly good wine, no previous experience with this vintage and absolutely delighted, holding on strong with some life still definitely left but cork definitely getting a bit crumbly - if not decanted then a filter is a good idea. Paired beautifully with coq au vin. Recently acquired 6 of these as part of a much larger cellar contents purchase and surely hope that the other 5 live up to this bottle. Fully matured and integrated, some oak still present but tannins almost gone, soft beautiful mouth feel, medium long beautiful aftertaste, dark purple with definite peripheral bricking in the glass and sangiovese mostly gone - cabernet and petite sirah dominant. Surprisingly dark powerful nose.

    January 15, 2020 - Nice but a little thin.

June 29, 2018 - very nicely integrated, showing some complexity and secondary characteristics, and a medium to long finish. firmly coasting on its plateau. Great time to pop one of these - at least a few more good years ahead. I'm intrigued to try some other vintages.

May 27, 2017 - Very tertiary at this point, with sandalwood, cedar and cigar box predominating the experience and considerable bricking in the glass. Still delicious, however, tonight with salmon and grilled bread. Definitely time to drink up. (= Still Worth Seeking Out)

April 29, 2017 - The cork absolutely crumbled; there was tons of sediment. BUT the Italian Kiss delivers. Smooth nicely aged a beautiful strange blend of CAB and Sangiovese. They figured out the secret potion!

(Bacio Divino) This really did not do much for me. Kinda goofy fruit, big tannin. Nothing special.
