  November 8, 2018 - PnP. Let sit for about 5 minutes. Color is ruby-red with a touch of purple at the center and a touch of orange at the rim. Some legs on the glass. Red fruit, funk and dirt aromas initially. Opening up and blowing off much of the funk nicely after about 15-20 minutes. On the palate the body is light+ to medium- with tart, red cherry, dirt, some darker cranberry, light tannin, a mouthwatering finish. Fairly tart. Even after about two hours a bit too simple and linear to go above good.

  January 25, 2018 - Pleasant surprise. Nose: no funk, just suggestions or wet earth/wood/leather. After opening up for 30 minutes, I started to sense red fruits (cherry/plum). Palate is light to medium weight with hints of same red fruits. Suspect it is at peak now, yet no indication that it is at end of life. Probably another 1-3 years left. Great value from WTSO.
