May 10, 2016 - over the hill, and firmly in the gutter!
November 23, 2014 - Dark red rich color yields a nose of currants and pear. The body is smooth verging on flabby with few tannins and a moderate after. This is a straightforward, uncomplicated bottle which may be passing its prime.
July 5, 2014 - A bit flabby but drinkable. Sweet blue and blackberry. Caramel. Alcohol on the nose. Nice but not a repeat for me.
June 1, 2013 - Great find.. Great price!!, loved it.
February 24, 2013 - Same as previous notes.. Excllent QPR and a great everyday drinker.
January 22, 2013 - I agree with interesting balance of old and new world as well. Garnet in color, color to edge. Long legs. Slightly sweet rapsberry on the nose with traces of something slightly green. Also pomegranate. Medium mouthfeel with hints of leftover tannins. Cool plum flavor, but not to extracted at all. Unexpected spice. Drinks at least $5 over what it costs. Best part is there's little artificial about it. Good everyday drinker.
January 11, 2013 - Dark horn nailed it, this is real nice balance of old world and new. We didn't finish the bottle and it was even better on day two.
December 31, 2012 - Very nice.. Love the old world, bold style, dark fruits and a bit of earthy forest floor. Med tannins, good mouth feel, nice balance.
December 13, 2012 - Deep cherry red. Brambles, spice, and vanilla. Med/full body, supple with chocolaty notes. Balanced wine with lengthy finish. Elegant.
November 3, 2012 - Soft pleasant, not overly complex.
