January 29, 2024 - Wow, pulled this out of 55F cellar, after sleeping 10 years, expected to find faded wine. Not the case. Beautiful boquet within 5 mins of oppening. Pronounced cherry, raspberry and forest floor. Finish goes on for over 60 seconds. What a beautiful surprise. Peaking, I would change end of drinking window to 2030.

February 14, 2023 - What a great bottle. The nose moved from currant to dark cherry over the evening and kept its 2010 black tea aroma and just a bit of funk. The palate showed dark cherry and distinct raspberry flavors, along with good acid and resolved tannins. It was a little thin upon opening but opened up after 45 mins, so I'd give it a short decant.
Kept improving through 2-3 hours open. Will keep another 5-8 years but at peak right now.

June 3, 2022 - Very good to excellent. Nicely styled and balanced, serious wine. Wish I had taken some more detailed notes, but alas, all I have is my general impression, which was favorable. (Note: I tend to favor the Dundee hills vs. Eola-Amity for Pinot Noir, but that is just my personal preference.)

September 5, 2021 - All I can say is wow. Very nice wine. Tannins resolved. Very smooth and delicious. Great with tenderloin steaks on the BBQ with the Franz's

December 21, 2020 - Vivid ruby. On the nose, cherries and, most remarkably, lemon oil; liquorish occasionally strengthened into Chinese herbal medicine, violet (more than rose). The main quality of the palate is its vivid freshness and purity, together with a beautiful silky / wet pebbles texture. (Warming up, more ordinary notes - cola, a certain sucrosity - become dominant; so proper temperature management is important here.) This textural impression endures in the long finish, where lemon oil recurs, before mild chilies add a final warm touch. I don't see this simple but lovely wine fading any time soon. I would have liked to pair it with unagi kabayaki, for instance. 91-92

(Evening Land Vineyards Pinot Noir La Source Seven Springs Vineyard) Dark cherry red color; light brett, tasty oak nose; velvety textured, tart cherry palate with integrating oak; needs 3-plus years; medium-plus finish
