September 25, 2017 - Chapoutier Ermitage Tasting (Alpharetta, GA): Still bright and juicy, sour cherry, cranberry with a darker fruit edge, still drinking well above its price; tasty.

August 23, 2016 - Tuesday Night Double Blind Tasting, $30-$50 (Bin 75): A bit of funk, but good fruit on the nose. Light color, but richer than previous wine (12 Beaune Teurons). Palate is fuller too. Not just pure fruit here, more depth. Very good, but not quite to the level of some past bottles (see Rezy13's notes).

April 8, 2016 - Another terrific showing, the fruit has thinned out just a bit but the mineral has really come out, still very fresh and piercing acid; very good.

December 9, 2014 - Tuesday Night $30-$50 Double Blind (Bin 75): Light see through maroon; fresh, floral, ripe Burgundy, sour dark cherry, violets, sweet sappy raspberry and strawberry, white rock; some fat but nicely taut, good tensile strength, persistent, dark red and maroon fruit; very good; nailed it!

March 18, 2014 - Tuesday Night $25-$40 Double Blind (Bin 75): Decanted and put in the fridge for 20-30 minutes; see through, dark ruby core with lighter rim; sexy spice, sour cherry, funk, depth, oak but so well integrated with wonderful fruit, almost blueberry; perfect temperature, well put together on the palate, limestone, tannin, long finish, good nobility, mineral and cut on the finish all in great balance; drinks much higher than its price point- most were in Gevrey; I need more; WOTN; had this recently and thought it was losing some of its luster but this had it in spades and showed better than great bottles before.
