June 25, 2022 - Decanted & waited 2 hours. Dark crimson red with hues of maturing/evolution. Nicely perfumed upon opening. On the palate, the decanting had smoothened the residual tannin, and tertiary flavors emerged. Smooth and nice remaining density and length. At peak maturity but can easily withstand 5 more years in bottle I would say. Paired well with rib eye.

December 11, 2021 - My previous bottle a few years ago was more easily accessible. Right now still in a muted phase. Dark purple red, tight and tannic upon opening. Took several hours before fruit re-emerged and tannins resolved. Too little was left by that time to do a proper tasting note. But the quality is there (as rightfully assessed by the 2014 Guide Hachette in which this wine got 2 stars and a coup de coeur). Bordeaux 2010 was/is clearly a long term cellaring vintage indeed.

January 25, 2018 - I had a drink a couple years ago and felt it was too ppwerfull. what a difference now, tannins and the wood have be integrated to give a very pleasant, smooth wine with light peppery notes. Enjoy now.

March 30, 2015 - Short finish and hollow on the mid palette. Some underlying fruit. Not a great wine but not terrible either.
