July 23, 2012 - From Bern's Steakhouse. Not a perfect wine by any means, but still memorable. Ripe, but elegant. The texture was a little new world-ish. The nose, however, was pure Burgundy with leaves, cherries, underbrush, mushrooms, etc. Really held up well. I did read that the En Orveaux vineyard is one of the last to ripen in all of the Cote d'Or, and despite a complete heatwave in 1982, it still hung on to some balance.
