February 4, 2018 - Red and blue fruits mingle with bitter chocolate and underbrush. Good depth and texture. Very enjoyable to drink. There is enough structure to keep this wine for another 5-7 years.

October 27, 2015 - Definitely tasting good at this time. Wine has unbelievably nice flavors for a $30 bottle (great value). Red currant, dark cherry and black currant, violet, box wood, black pepper nose. Nice fruit and full body with nice balance and structure. need a little time to open up. Nice soft long finish. I know that the wine is supposed to be good until 2019 but I'd say it is plateaued now so enjoy. Went extremely will with the creamy butternut squash soup that we had.

April 7, 2015 - From 375mL. Initially this shows very little, just all closed up and not giving much away. With time, oxygen coaxes out some classic claret aromas of briar, blackberries, cedar, pepper, and graphite. Early on it seems very oak-dominant but there is an inherent balance to this that again, comes with some time in the glass.
I can tell there's a fair whack of Merlot in the blend, it has a lot of sweet plummy fruit on the palate, which plays nicely against the soft, furry tannic kick the Cabernet provides. Lovely moreish acidity, draws out the finish nicely.
