July 26, 2019 - Very nice Cab. Popped and poured and it did not take long to open up. Floral aromatics with a touch of chocolate mint. Velvety in the mouth, blackberries, mocha, some herbal spiciness on the finish.

May 1, 2019 - A very good cabernet, especially for $75. Floral aromatics with blackberries and oak. Dark cherry fruit and chocolate flavors with a medium finish. Not as complex as one would expect with Georges III fruit, but still, we enjoyed every last drop.

January 16, 2019 - A very good but not great Cabernet. Decanted for an hour, opened up nicely as the meal progressed. Floral aromatics followed by smooth plum and cherry flavors. Not very complex, but still deserving of a score in the low 90s.

August 3, 2015 - I had really hyped this and the 2009 vintage up. I was honestly a little bit disappointed in this 2010. The cork was withdrawn with a dark cherry red stain. Very good aromatics originally out of the bottle. A nice nose of flint and crushed rock, blackberry and licorice. The palette was basically exactly the same as the nose. It did get quite deeper after 3 hours of being open. Some complexity started to trickle in, especially some of the cinnamon spice and some sort of mocha hint. Finishes all cedar tannin, and seems a little stern. Leaves you with a little bit of grit on your tongue, but 0 grit in the bottle. A good wine to enjoy with friends, but nothing really special. I would not use this one to entertain the a-listers. Drink by 2020.
