August 21, 2021 - About the same as a bottle a year and a half ago. Inky color and a nice nose. Blueberries, stones, and a little tapenade. Solid finish. Solid wine, in fact - not a religious experience, but...solid. Better on the second night, which suggests (at least to me) that it has at least a couple more years of useful life ahead of it.

August 9, 2021 - Continued to improve from my last tastings - needed air to show complexity. Black in the glass. Dark fruit, tobacco, saline and granite and touch of oak (with air only). Medium body, medium+ acidity, medium tannins and long finish. Palate consistent with nose. 92+

July 2, 2021 - Blue and black fruits with very light olive, tobacco and floral notes in the background. Good concentration and acidity. I like this.

April 27, 2021 - Needs a good hour or 2 in the decanter. Very savory, stony, and meaty with fruit tones only in the background...as is Cornas tradition. Drink or hold another year or 2.
