May 15, 2016 - Dark ruby to garnet in color. The nose is rather closed and needs an hour or more in the glass to open up a little. On waiting, it has aromas of dark fruit, vanilla, good amount of oakiness. Feels a bit extracted. Mouthfeel is a bit acidic with chewy tannins leading to an early and warm finish.
