July 2, 2022 - On release , cost $36! Loved it, more than the late model Dominus. Ditto to the last review’s taste profile

April 16, 2022 - Slow ox 30 min. Lovely subtle nose of black fruit, wet stones and herbs. The palate is phenomenal. Impeccably balanced. Tannins fully integrated. Excellent core of lovely black fruit: Medium to full bodied with very good acidity and long complex finish. One of the best aged Cali Cabernets I have had recently.

April 5, 2022 - Popped for a special occasion, and this rose to the moment. Smelled briefly a bit stewed when first uncorked, but this shaped up nicely with a little air. In most respects, this is old school cali cab done that way it used to be, the way it should be. While there are some claret-like facets here, this is more of a ripe, lush, silky wine then the norm along the Gironde. There’s a bit of roast and red wine reduction, but there’s plenty of zest and brightness to balance the concentrate notes.

Day 2... ultra cabernet bouquet now, redolent of mint, cedar, currant leaf, rubber, and lemon zest. Beautiful, Bordeaux-esque nose. The palate though has lost some of its refinement in the interim, and satisfies more with its robust, obvious density and flavor.

February 27, 2022 - The mouth feel was ripe and lush but the wine was unratable because it was slightly corked.

December 12, 2021 - PnP, tasted after an hour without food in a group. This was dense, concentrated, showing some warm fruit and quite a bit of pyrazine. Alongside some world class Bordeaux, this stood its ground. Wouldnt be tricked out of Napa, but the internal quality is there
