    July 26, 2019 - Wow, beautiful wine...

Eucalyptus initially on nose that broke down in decanter into a dark fragrant fruit...refined, mellow...

As someone else mentioned in previous note, may a smidge past peak, but still excellent!

July 14, 2019 - Absolutely ethereal!! So reminded us of a mature right bank with a bit of Napa cassis kick from the Cab. all kinds of herbs, cassis and toasty french oak. The 20% Merlot provides a really creamy mouthfeel that lasts a long time with plenty of coffee and chocolate overtones with blackcurrant fruit that remains fresh. Decanted one hour prior to serving - this wine is at or maybe slightly past peak maturity. After two hours the finish started to slightly shorten with a bit of astringency, but wow what a terrific winemaking achievement. Last bottle :( 95+

July 7, 2019 - Classic bordeaux nose, dark profile, cassis, vegetal. Mouthfeel in a good spot, silky tannins, long finish, pure fruit. Excellent bottle.

June 26, 2019 - Wonderful expression of Napa Valley in its prime - a great (not perfect) vintage, 26 years of bottle age: gorgeous rich color, fragrant lively nose of fruit and minerality, full bodied with no rough edges and a long, smooth finish. Lovely in every way.

May 18, 2019 - A left bank lookallike - a 1990 Angelus came up more than once in our discussions - this wine is just amazing. Creamy, rich, opulent and long it is ready but at the same time has at least 30 years left.
