April 21, 2023 - Very smooth. Nice finish

October 11, 2022 - Smells of black cherry, leather and stinky cheese.
After about 1:30 hour, palate opens up. Tastes of dark cherry, fine tannins. Primary fruit is a little flat but still a good wine.

October 3, 2021 - Further to my Note of July 18, '18: This is #2. Heavier sediment this time--normal for its age. Color still good, perhaps some decline in fruit--more subdued--but overall still good; no need to wait. Stay with notable+.

March 21, 2021 - Still drinking well, but start to fade soon.

August 22, 2020 - Last bottle and still drinking pretty much as well as back in '16. Ruby to garnet color. Aromas of dark and dark red fruits, earthy and animal funk, cedar, cinnamon, licorice, and graphite. Light to medium body, medium acid and finish, and flavors of cherry, plum, black tea, lemon, and minerals. Still drinking surprisingly well, and I'd say has another year or a few, but I don't think it's improving any from here, so as I said in '16, drink 'em if you got 'em.
