  March 19, 2011 - This wine has aged nicely. It appears to not have lost much color, as it has a dark ruby red color to it. It is a medium bodied Merlot with 14.1% alcohol. It gives off aromas of licorice, blackberries, tar, baking spices, black currants and blueberries with some earthiness coming in. It tastes of black currants, blueberries, baking spices, cassis and earthy flavors. This wine is at its peak, I do not see it improving any. At best, it will hold what it has for 3 more years.

  March 1, 2009 - Drank this at home. We bought this wine when it was introduced. I was uninspired by both the nose and the taste. It wasn't a bad bottle of wine, but clearly not something one would buy again. Also shows me why I'm not a big fan of merlot on its own.

  May 8, 2006 - Very nice nose of dark fruits and vanilla. Really plush in the mouth, with gobs of fruit and a nice finish. Definitely will hold up for a few more years.
