July 27, 2021 - Waxed and waned rather over its time open in the fridge. Enjoyable, but there are certainly many better (and more expensive) Finos
December 4, 2019 - À la Tienne!; 12/4/2019-12/7/2019 (Paris - France): Aromatically quite vulgar with a saline note and another of old cooperage. Better in the mouth with persistence, memories of nuts and good balance.
Served too warm to my taste.
Aromáticamente bastante vulgar con una nota salina y otra de tonelería vieja. Mejor en boca con persistencia, recuerdos a frutos secos y buen equilibrado.
Servido demasiado cálido para mi gusto.
June 11, 2016 - Concentrated, complex, and balanced. This wine delivers depth and interest at a bargain price.
January 15, 2015 - Pale gold; burnt sugar, almonds, white raisins; dry, caramel, nutty, minerally, light body, good acidity, slightly bitter finish
Dry with slightly bitter, oxidated notes, nuttiness and a saline quality. Nice.
August 1, 2012 - At 3€ this bottle is more than a bargain, a real deal, a steal (6.95 sterlings in the UK).
Golden colour. Nutty nose. Bitter palate.
Quite delicious because that salinity level, yet a shortie one. Would like more and more.
Great matching some assorted maki-sushi anyway.
A 3 euros la botella esto es un chollazo.
Color dorado. Nariz a nuez. Boca amarga.
Bien delicioso por ese nivel de salinidad aun cortito. Me hubise gustado más ymás.
De todas formas grande acompañando maki variado.
February 23, 2011 - Served as appertif before meal. Extra dry oxidazed Fino. Nice iron and nutty taste. Long length. To repeat.
Servido como aperitivo antes de la comida. Extra seco, un Fino oxidado. Ricos sabores a hierro y nueces. Largo recorrido. Para repetir.
June 1, 2006 - Loved the nutty, oxidative flavors but there was a terribly harsh, unpleasant thing going on as well. Undrinkable, for me. Unfortunately this was my first dry sherry, so i have no idea whether it was a flawed bottle or as intended.
