February 4, 2020 - Cassis, wet leather and greenish earthy notes on the palate. Not much power, maybe already a few years to old?

January 5, 2019 - Drukket 2017. Fortsatt mye kraft. De to siste bør drikkes innen 2020

December 31, 2018 - Quite rooty with rose petals and earth. Decent structure and smooth. Medium balanced finish with sour red and black fruit. Cedar box notes linger. Integrated tannin and lots of vibrant acidity. Holding up well and develops more nuance after an hour or so open. Drink now.

February 18, 2017 - During a tasting "bring a bottle that is at least 25 years old". Similar to the Gruaud Larose 1988 next to it, Mature Medoc Aromas, but aromatically not quite as complex. Also here we have the strong tannins of 88 but not overbearing.

April 9, 2016 - Decent with typical mature Paulliac flavors and aromas of pencil lead. casis, dried herbs and earthy leather notes. Dense, structured with a dry medium finish. Sour gooseberry with a tinge of sweetness that reveals itself right at the end. Decanted 3 hours, it needs it.
