August 18, 2017 - Drank this with a sous-vide pork shoulder joined with grilled stone fruits and a very special Galliano glaze. The color showed a bit of age but the wine itself maintained a youthful exuberance with cassis, sour cherry, and a bit of tobacco and tea leaf. Alcohol and tannins were nicely in balance. Quaffable but not impervious to contemplation.
