January 7, 2023 - Mature Cab, with dark fruit, a hint of tobacco and coffee. Smooth and drinking well.
February 7, 2022 - Drinking nicely now but I don’t think this will age well beyond this point. Nice dark fruit but doesn’t seem to have the structure to evolve any further.
June 11, 2021 - Nose is aromatic with green pine notes and spice. The mouth is full of deep dark fruit, licorice, dark coffee and a bright finish with plenty of tannins. It has a lot more time left in it but it’s good now
December 24, 2020 - 1 hour decant. Drinking very well right now. Fruit forward okay napa cab with secondary notes on the nose and nice acidity on the finish.
November 22, 2017 - Solid wine just a little pricey for what you get.
The fruit was not as balanced as I like.
December 11, 2016 - This wine was nice, but a little weak when compared to the Honig Cab. Tasted both wines with steak and the Honig won hands down.
June 8, 2016 - Nice cab, good balance, not overly powerful. Nice to have a that is not too powerful.
May 26, 2016 - One hour decant presented a dense and chewy Cab with good finishing tannins.
May 22, 2016 - Sweet cassis, blackberry, plum, mint, dark chocolate, and nice minerality on the finish. Elegant.
January 14, 2016 - This is another wonderful wine from Laurie and Tom, great winemakers and great people! Lovely spice and resolved red fruit on the nose. Rich, creamy palate yet somewhat Bordeaux-like. Love this wine.
