June 13, 2019 - Had this stored at 55 degrees since purchase so it was in fantastic shape. For this price range i don't think you'll do much better. Had it with an everything pizza and it held up quite well. I enjoy a good simple but earthy Italian wine like this. Very smooth but had nice fruit/earth combo. Wish I had more with this kind of age on it.

March 11, 2016 - Ripe fruit but not particularly bright. Easy drinking, food friendly CC. Not complex and not as nervy as I'd like but it went well tonight with our simple meal and continued to drink well after.

January 18, 2015 - My impressions are similar to many other reviews. The wine is clear light ruby color, with a good fruit nose. The taste is more earthy than fruity and the overall impression is one of lightness. This would go well with most foods an it is fairly priced at under $20.

December 15, 2014 - Was quite muted when the bottle was first opened but did liven up after an hour. Moderate acidity and low tannins. More earthy flavors than fruity. I would drink now but can probably wait another couple of years but no more.

September 30, 2014 - Very pleasant light bodied and lithe with pretty mushrooms flowers tart cherries and coffee grounds. Good QPR and food friendly with wide variety of weeknight dinner- pizza, pasta, burgers, fritatta, roast chicken, skirt steak, etc. No pretense to being a blockbuster but easy to drink and enjoy.

February 6, 2014 - A pretty classical Chianti. Herbs, some dark fruits and earthy notes. Some tannins, but already developed. Has typical acid in the finish. Great with rustic food. Pretty straight forward, not thick, I like the style. Drink now, maybe until 2018.

December 19, 2013 - Very solid chianti and a reasonable QPR at $21. Starts out pretty earthy and dusty, but with air the red fruits come out nicely and it gains decent balance. Still has a rustic edge on the finish that might smooth out a bit with time. Not spectacular and not bad. Might be worth buying again.
