June 7, 2020 - Purchased 8 bottles of these back in January of 2013, this is my last bottle and have not tasted since 2016. This bottle with same consistent notes of previous bottles, lots of dark fruit, cherry, currants, blackberry, some chocolate notes, very smooth and integrated. Surprisingly still going strong, completely ready to drink but should easily hold based on this bottle for a couple more years
January 26, 2020 - Decanted for four hours but still seemed to need more time. The tannins have mellowed and the old was evident. Drank during hosting a pool match.
November 1, 2019 - This might be just a tad past peak, but still in its drinking window. Smooth, mild tannins, moderate black fruits. For 2010 Napa, RP says hold, WS says drink or hold. This is Knights Valley, which is just north of Napa.
February 17, 2019 - Gave to Mike Williams
November 23, 2018 - Chocolate covered plums and cherries. Smooth and hints of complexity. Probably near or at peak.
August 12, 2018 - Good wine with beef.
June 27, 2018 - Still doing fine. Great QPR wine going strong.
September 12, 2017 - Solid, well-made Cali cab that's much better than many 2-3 times as pricey. Somewhat one-dimensional, but very good and an excellent value. Bought when released and stored in temperature controlled cellar.
May 25, 2017 - Like this wine. A solid Cab. Probably not a $20 cab, although I feel like this particular bottle may have been slightly corked. Had others and enjoyed them more. Still gave it an 88 out of deference to a half dozen other of the same bottles.
April 23, 2017 - PNP. Excellent CA cab, incredible QPR at under $20. Perfumed nosed of red fruits and oak spice, the wine presents intense red currant, cranberry, and red cherry fruit with graphite, pencil lead, and subtle oak folding into the very smooth, balanced, and refined finish. So smooth and silky with completely integrated tannins, this wine drinks way over its price point. Purchased upon release and stored in temp controlled cellar, drink now and through 2020.
