April 2, 2023 - Nose of cherry and tobacco. Medium body, complex palate of ripe red fruits, earthy spices, some caramel in the distance. Long delicious finish. We had it with chicken liver, it paired amazingly. Great Barolo!

July 25, 2021 - Nose of olives and mint. Taste is pine, herb, and some blue fruit notes. Def high acid, tannins intact but refined. Moderate plus complexity & finish. My resident expert said this was not a typical Brunello, but we all agreed it was quite delicious.

January 31, 2021 - I remember this as being quite charming when bought some years ago. this is now the last bottle and should have matured. Though, it did not yet bring the wine together. Relatively mellow and some sweet notes with spices and some faint cherry and phenol notes, overall not in a balanced place at this moment. No idea if continues evolution, but would not recommend this in current condition. i though am not a Barolo specialist...

May 18, 2019 - Intense with dried flowers - roses and violets. Cherry, tar, wet paint and minerals. Amazing wine with just the right amount of maturity for me. Long. Concentrated and complex!

March 18, 2019 - Nose with Nebb. elements. Elegant and good , but not a Big wine.
Seems ready for drinking now , a modern Barolo.

November 23, 2015 - This wine is drinking nicely right now. Dark fruit with cocoa undertones and a nice tart fruit splash. Should improve with time but I liked the freshness of what is still a pretty young wine.

February 10, 2015 - Big and powerful - fierce tannins. Slowly opened up with lamb, clearly this needs significant time. Cinnamon and spice. A good producer that isn't too expensive.

January 4, 2015 - Initial nose of nail polish, cream, vanilla, cherries, violettes. Thin brick translucent color to the rim with slight bricking. Beautiful structured legs and tears. Palate of vanilla cream, dark chocolate, tobacco, cherries with dry lingering finishing tannins. Needs to open so I decanted.

January 29, 2014 - Barolos ( and few more) (Chris's): Ruby/purple color. The nose has dark cherries and a hint of rosemary. The palate has firm tannins and cherry fruit. Nice finish.
