April 24, 2024 - No formal notes. End of meal paired with Eves pudding. Very enjoyable.

April 11, 2024 - Great aged Sauternes consumed 20 years after the vintage. It had been in my cellar the whole time. Rich, caramelly and perfumed. It lacked the slight bitterness that Botrytis sometimes infuses. It was loved by everyone. If it had had a little bit more acidity, it would have scored better, but that is a tough ask of a very hot vintage like 2003.

April 2, 2024 - Golden. Nose of pineapple, apricot. Taste on the sweeter side, better with cheese or as dessert rather than WITH dessert. Long aftertaste. Good.

February 19, 2024 - Marmalade, pineapple, and apricot seem to be a common thread through these notes. I agree.

October 1, 2023 - From 375ml. An anniversary wine and the first from our stash, cellared since release. I think we were all surprised how good this was. Really intense and sweet with marmalade, dried pineapple, and oak, but there is enough acidity propping up the wine's big frame. It paired very nicely with Noreetuh's grilled pineapple dessert.

September 13, 2023 - Very sweet and honeyed. Syrupy, very big. Almost too much. Served with roasted honeyed apricots, caramelized pineapple, ginger and butterscotch it was way too much. On its own or with something to better contrast on the palate would've been more enjoyable.

September 9, 2023 - From 37,5cl, good cork, P+P. An outstanding, fully mature half-bottle, with a weighty entry and rich orange marmalade mid-palate (maturity seems to have beaten back the apricot jam I and others have noted here a few times in the past). Beautiful lifted mint on the long, long finish. Terrific wine, now fully mature in this format, but with plenty of life left in it. 93P
