April 12, 2021 - dark, nearly opaque. lush, rich, vibrantly fruity nose of plum and ripe blackberries. earlier brightness is toned done some: some soft, caressing notes, but a bit too clean, though intense, slightly medicinal, fruit. still a bit too tannic. floral notes emerge very slowly in nose of slightly neutered wild cherry. should improve for at least 5 years.
