Community Tasting Notes 6

February 28, 2021 - Flawed, marked with a funky moldy smell. Unclear if TCA is the culprit, but definitely an off bottle.

April 9, 2020 - Might be a bit past its prime, but still enjoyable. Melon dominated with hints of citrus and pear. Quite tart with acids now dominating over the fruit.

March 11, 2017 - Owen Roe DuBrul Vineyard Vertical Tasting (My House): Had first as a palate primer. Probably past it's prime, this was surprisingly funky. Not drinking like a Chardonnay at all...more like Roussanne. Quite creamy, lots of funk, buttery oak, pear fruit. Interesting wine!

June 23, 2015 - Consistent with previous notes. Drinking well right now.

November 11, 2013 - Refreshing medium weight Chardonnay. Ample citrus, tropical fruit and stone with just the right amount if oak for me. Creamy but not heavy. Lovely.
