Community Tasting Notes 10

October 30, 2017 - Yellow color with a bouquet and flavor of apples with only a hint of petrol. Very pleasant acidity with moderate sweetness. Very good balance with a fairly long finish. Not as compelling as the first bottle tasted, but still very good.

September 15, 2014 - Pineapple, peach, sweet but not overly so. A very nice wine at this price.

April 20, 2014 - Considering its price and availability, it is an inexpensive alternative to harder-to find Sauternes when a white dessert wine is called for.

September 30, 2013 - Yellow color with a lovely bouquet and flavor mixing petrol, apple, and lychee nut. Good balance with very pleasant acidity and a nice finish. German wines are too heavily weighted by their sweetness. I much prefer the kabinetts, although I confess to having less interest in the trockens.
