July 25, 2017 - Pale ruby color with medium legs. Aromas of strawberry, blueberry, mushroom, dust and toast. On the palate raspberry, red currant, cherry and black pepper. The body is light/medium with leathery texture. The wine finishes medium with good acidity.

November 27, 2016 - Nice color, barley transparent. The nose shows aromas of oak, ripe red berries, damp earth, tobacco and a hint of pepper. This is barely medium bodied on the palate with good concentration and decent class. The medium plus length finish features ripe tannins and a hint of residual sugar. Round and easy.

October 18, 2016 - Honeymoon in the Finger Lakes; 10/17/2016-10/20/2016 (FLX, New York, USA): Tasted at the winery. A unique blend that is a little all over the place... Saperavi, Sereksiya Charni, Leon Millot, and Cab Franc. Good clarity(!) with well-defined cinnamon and strawberries on the nose, carrying through to the palate. A spicy, acidic tone rings through the clean finish. Seems built for light fare and maybe even some short-term cellaring. "Very good," 88/100.
