October 19, 2023 - Deep purple centrally, ruby at the rim. Raspberry, pomegranate, and rose aromas. Palate starts off acidic, then yields to strawberry and raspberry flavors. Unfortunately, the acid transitions to a faint bitterness that extends through to the finish but subsides with aeration. With time, the nose takes on dark chocolate, sorghum, and earth tones. The palate follows a similar, inelegant, unappealing path. Not my cup of tea.

October 16, 2021 - Agree with prior comments on the cork being difficult. Amazing nose of molasses, red fruit, oak, damp earth. Taste is similar to nose, but with a bit of sour cherry. Great acidity, perfect balance. Aging really well. Drinking great now, but expect it will keep evolving over next 10 years easily. Had with leftover Italian food, but would really sing with beef/steak.
