    January 17, 2016 - Didn't realize when purchasing (17 Jan 16) that it was a 2011 vintage.

The wine was definitely flat and muted through the middle and had a very sharp strange flavor in the finish. A bad aftertaste that might have been cork taint. I didn't pick up a strong corked aroma but the odd taste might have been a bit of corking.

I think if i was a couple years younger this might have been a pretty nice wine, but in 2016 I could definitely tell it was well past its prime.

Due to the unintended age of the wine I'm not giving a numerical score as it would be an unfair assessment.

November 8, 2015 - Oak overwhelms this one. There's some underlying green apple and lemon trying to get out. Balanced acidity.

July 16, 2014 - Basic chardonnay with a high end amount of oak. Good value.

April 5, 2014 - Cabbage, toast, butterscotch. Salty, oaky palate, not much fruit, plenty of oak but little else. Decent finish but it could have done with more fruit and acidity.

February 1, 2014 - Lite reduktiv i doften, typ brända tändstickor. Vädrades ur efter en stund. Nötter, mandel, blodgrape och gula äpplen.
Knappt medelfyllig, måttliga syror och en liten beska i den inte alltför långa eftersmaken.

(Chateau Ste. Michelle Chardonnay Columbia Valley) Very lightly aromatic with grass, toasty oak, banana, and spice. The palate has a broad feel with light fruit flavors accented by wood spices. 100% Chardonnay. 13% tank fermented. Aged seven months in French and American oak (13% new). 13.5% alcohol. Sample provided by winery.
