May 22, 2022 - (From magnum). This continues to surprise and delight. So rich and buttery it really needs to be drunk with food, it holds its own with surprising ease with strongly flavoured English ham. A light golden colour, the fruit is still as available as ever, and age is only slowly creeping up on it. No hint of caramel at all yet. Wonderful, and in my experience, a unique expression of Macon / Chardonnay.

April 11, 2020 - Ripe fruit, pineapple, lemon, white pepper, very dense, nearly oily, excellent stuff, this was my last one. I think it can still age for years.
December 15, 2019 - This is an extraordinary wine. It is so rich and opulent it is difficult to drink on its own. However, paired with turkey, as we did tonight, it demonstrates an amazing ability to work with the food. There is pineapple, basil and butter on the palate, but in a way the individual flavours should be ignored as you pay tribute to a style that I have not seen anywhere else in Burgundy, let alone Macon. Try it, and I hope you love it. You may not, but this is so different from the norm, you should definitely have a go.
June 7, 2019 - Nothing to add to sidaga's precise note from 10 February 2019, except that I found the wine a bit too brash to my taste when compared to my previous tasting, as if the extra age masked the wine's flexibility. Nevertheless, an excellent wine that aged very well and could possible age longer.

Nez sur les fruits exotiques (mangue, ananas), bouquet riche, aspect beurré, crémeux & confituré perceptible.
Bouche riche en attaque, texture grasse & quasi huileuse. Sur les fruits exotiques perçus au nez. Bonne ampleur & longueur. Finalement légèrement sucrée & longue. Supeber équilibre malgré la richesse.

December 25, 2016 - I didn't get the acidity to the same degree as johneagle, but otherwise agree with the tasting notes. Complex, evolved with exposure to air, supported a dinner, cheese, and dessert with ease and style. I wish I had more.
June 11, 2016 - Oeil jaune dorée;
Nez en richesse, sur les fruits exotiques comme la mangue & les ananas. Légère pointe beurrée, florale & qques notes d'épices vertes séchées. Belle fraîcheur, invitant.
La bouche est très vive au départ, p-ê un peu trop acide pour mon palais, cependant la balance s'installe avec le temps & le milieu de bouche devient plus riche & gras avec le temps. Majoritairement sur le fruit à chaire jaune, très belle longeur & fraîcheur. Très bon!
