October 6, 2019 - Fruit forward, silky, smooth, ripe, sweet.
August 19, 2018 - Short decant, then drank over 2 nights. Going strong. Vibrant big red fruit, mouthcoating texture, and a smooth finish. Pure Paso.
August 18, 2018 - Popped and poured. This is a medium-red wine with ruby notes throughout and mouth-staining capacity in the glass. On the nose, I get sweet red fruit, some light mocha, and a touch of BBQ. In the mouth, the wine is full, expansive, and fleshy. The darker fruit aspects carry through to a largely sweet finish. Overall, this is heady and a bit four-square. I prefer the non-EBA version of this wine. 89 points.
November 29, 2017 - Deep, smooth Rhone blend with long finish of dark chocolate and charred wood. I wonder if I should have given this more air or bottle time as it didn't really sing for me although the quality was apparent.
September 11, 2017 - Lush, full bodied ripe black cherries, plum, clove, pepper.
March 30, 2017 - Rich and lush, with plum and dried cherry notes - backed with white pepper and mandarin peel. Lovely
March 9, 2017 - Cellared. Too tight, even after several hours of decanting. Extending start/end dates further out.
January 15, 2017 - Wow, this is really showing nicely at age 6.5. Beautiful bright aromatics with the alcohol starting to be integrated.
September 20, 2016 - Closed down substantially after 1.5 hrs in decanter. Saved half a bottle for night two... we'll see how that goes tonight. A waste to open now.
