July 1, 2021 - Served blind. Initially puzzlingly exotic, verging on New World. Then - after the reveal of the maker - either by mind trick or in fact happening due to aeration it come round to show that PYCM hallmark reduction. Started out 90 probably would have gone to 94 had I had more in the glass as was small pour. So bottom line - decant this wine.
February 21, 2021 - Overperforming. So complex and concentrated.
Peaking now and the next ??
February 8, 2020 - Acker Merrall Bicentennial Gala (Cipriani Wall Street - New York NY): Small glass, brief note. Floral start with ripe and fleshy apples through. Very good length, soft finish. Good now.
August 23, 2019 - Classic PYCM. Layers of white flowers, citrus fruits and a piercing mineral core. Good stuff and it drinks well now but no rush and it could improve further over time.
March 14, 2018 - 1.5 hr decant, such a great place now, lemon chiffon with flint notes, finish that lasts forever it seems. Powerful and elegant with excellent balance. Still young as the strong note of flint lingers as a bit bold note.
August 29, 2017 - Flat årgangstypisk, litt uren, fet
August 29, 2017 - Puligny-Montrachet: Slim mix of citrus and flowers (!), some gunpowder, a slight tropical note; high acid -- almost sharp, linear. Well, after all it comes across as slightly unbalanced.
August 28, 2017 - Spennende nese med en røykaktig støvete mineralitet.
Mer krydder og stein enn frukt på duft.
Balansert munnfølelse.
Konsentrert, stram og fresh.
Fast lang finish med utpreget mineralitet.
Flott vin. 91p+
August 28, 2016 - This was a bit better than les Champs 2012 the same night. It was ok, but the price (250$) in the Restaurant beats the qualitity.
October 2, 2014 - Fine and floral and full of finesse. Has some spicy oak notes and the purest of white peach flavour. There's 'Chablisesque' squint inducing lemon acidity and nice detail and persitance.
