Community Tasting Notes 10

December 21, 2023 - Tart blackberry and aour plum. Some sweet vanilla and gentle warm spice. Feels a bit tired, 2010 not that I old but I got this at auction so maybe the previous storage wasn't ideal. Not bad but not showing as well as expected, I've had some wonderful Craiglees and this wasn't one.

    October 24, 2020 - Vintage 2010 Tasting; 10/24/2020-10/25/2020 (Bronte, Sydney): soft red
clean pure red berry nose, not much spice
plump red berries, creamy texture, soft spice, reasonable length, drinks well but lacks complexity, none of the typical pepper evident

June 14, 2020 - It has been a while since I last had a Craiglee. Blackberry, white pepper. Medium bodied. Everything I look for in a cool climate shiraz.

December 11, 2015 - Very fresh, super-light nose of red apple, asparagus, steamed green beans, and green capsicum. Cool-climate palate, with flavours of blackberry, pepper, capsicum, and a touch of cranberry.
