February 11, 2019 - Not typically a fan of Brunello but this is good. Dark fruit and soil tones, heavy tannins and lots of structure. Still so young, but will be very good.

December 29, 2017 - very elegant and drinking perfectly right now with amazing food at Charle Bird

August 26, 2017 - The cork was in perfect condition. In neck and no sign of seepage. Very advanced. Slight oxidized nose. The rim of brownish color made me thought it is a 87 instead of 97. Palate was fine with ample fruits and good acidity but nothing great. What a waste!

May 23, 2017 - An even better showing than my last bottle, with pure, concentrated flavors of cherry and tar alongside some floral and mineral notes. So much energy. Amazing stuff.

June 16, 2016 - A Night of Truly Diverse Wines (Newtown, Sydney): Decanted for sediment and allowed to breathe for about an hour. A superb bottle despite a 6,000 mile journey a mere 36 hours prior. virtually screaming of purity and class. Powerful black cherry nose. Pure red fruit bolstered by intense minerality, providing perfect balance to the opulence of the fruit. Grippy tannins. Couldn't put this down. Seemingly ageless / hopefully indestructible.
