July 3, 2016 - Paired with grilled trout and grilled Brussels sprouts. This continues to be our favorite Pinot Noir. Nicely balanced. Just the right amount of fruit although not much earthy taste.
December 14, 2015 - Dark cherry and blackberry fruit. Good Pinot funk and cola notes. Very nice acidity and just the right amount of oak. Not going to peg your needle if you like fruit forward, but a really nice food wine.
1/7/2018 Two years later and still holding its own with almost identical notes to the first bottle. Rocked our Sunday roast chicken.
September 30, 2014 - Certainly Californian, but rather elegant with fresh acidity that helps this wine go well with food.
June 4, 2014 - Definitely bid and ripe, more so than I usually drink when it comes to Pinot, however quite tasty. A little pine and funk on the nose with a feel of black cherry cola on the palate.
March 11, 2014 - Decanted for ~ 1 hr. Dark crimson in color. A big ripe nose of red fruit led to a similar profile on the palate. Very ripe strawberry and raspberry with a some darker cherry notes as well. The 15% abv is held by the fruit quite well. A bit of oak showing, but well in check. There seemed to be some earthy notes and spice buried in there, but they were muted by the ripe fruit. Will hold the remainder of the bottles to see if the fruit comes into check.
September 9, 2013 - Drinking absolutely beautifully. Great nose and quite Burgundian in style although it was very clearly California.
January 19, 2013 - Zesty red berry fruit on the nose with a dusty cedar note. Bramble, currant and wild red berry on the palate with great acid. Nice texture. Bright red fruit throughout. Warm, fresh red berry tart with pastry crust. Raspberry and strawberry driven. Pretty and feminine in profile. Has a great spicy quality.
