Community Tasting Notes 7

August 6, 2021 - Best showing ever of this wine. Just delicious. Notes of apple, lime, citrus, pineapple, flowers and herbs. Really good with the sushi and sashimi (fluke, tilefish, red tuna, salmon and tobiko) plus our friend’s homemade sushi with smoked salmon and cream cheese.

Either entering maturity or improved by the raw fish pairing.

January 23, 2021 - Tasty wine. Notes of peaches, petrol, citrus, apple, herbs. Drier than some of the other wines.

Excellent with the apple salsa from Terhune.

    Drink now or age.

August 15, 2019 - Rich but chalky nose, pineapple, peach, salted lime, chalk dust. Lively acidity on the palate with peaches and green melon, kiwi, so fruity but lovely freshness. Waxy, honeyed tones but still so lively and young.

    May 12, 2019 - Tasty wine
Notes of peach, white grapefruit, stone fruit, minerals. Great with the egg omlette. Would be good with quiche or roast chicken, too.
