November 14, 2021 - A little tight out of the bottle, this wine opened up in the glass and in the bottle over the course of about 30 minutes to an hour. Drinking quite nicely now. A short decant might be perfect.

October 23, 2021 - Spectacular. Wonderfully smooth with intricate flavors woven together. Long finish. Nice fruit and depth. Wish I had more.

October 15, 2021 - Color was good, but badly corked and undrinkable.

July 10, 2021 - Largely consistent with our previous tasting note, but this bottle was ready to go immediately after opening, and I'd bet yours will be too. No reason to wait any longer...

October 14, 2018 - Over the top bouquet. A bit more restrained on the palate. Nearly fully mature -- chance for some upside in the next year or two.

September 12, 2017 - Slow-oxed for 30 minutes - needed a proper decant, and needed at least an hour. But so it goes. In the glass, dark red and ever so slightly cloudy. On the nose, cherries, damp earth, and a faint saline note. On the palate, more reserved and brooding than the typical DuMOL fare; the fruit still leads the way, but complexity and a sense of restraint are present. With that said, still a quite nice pinot and approachable now...just don't expect the usual RRV flamboyance.

February 17, 2017 - Wine is dominated by dark flavor profile - nose of black cherry, cola, and forest floor with a hint of cedar. For a Pinot this is medium bodied but has very nice complexity along with soft pleasing tannins and a moderate finish.

February 12, 2017 - Taking on some development characters with a touch of damp earth, root vegetables and meat. There’s ginger spice and a palate that is sweet and full. Tannins are fine grained.
