May 22, 2022 - Bright gold hue. Nose of white flowers, melon, flint, just a hint of petrol. Nicely etched layers of honeydew melon, white peach, and apple nectar hovering over a base of steely, dry spine. Brisk acidity. Longer finish of tropical white fruits resolving into crushed rock. Bursting with energy and quite delicious, a great paring with jambalaya.

January 30, 2015 - Quite rich yellow, oily appearance. The nose surprises with balanced combination of freshness and ripe earthy tones, whiff of smoke, lemon zest and bitter, wild honey. Full palate complements the nose - ripe yellow-apple juice and dry pulp, honey. Very good volume, rich, oily viscosity, pronounced mineral background. Not aggressive, but penetrating acidity. Long finish. Great balance and focus. Enough structure and body for aging.
