Community Tasting Notes 6

October 3, 2019 - Medium red with pending orange rim.
Dark black currant, hyacint, oak, animalistic notes and some cinamon. A bit of dusty feeling on the nose.
Rounded acidity but high, dusty and soft tannin structure. Quite long and warm aftertaste with a backbone of black currant.

July 15, 2019 - Well balanced and smooth. Good length.

    December 15, 2017 - Red
Black currantt, oak/vanilla, a hint of paint, licorice on the nose.
On the palate, light, alcoholic/spicy, mint/licorice, fine tannins, some (restricted) ripe dark fruit. Long after taste.
    Well balanced.

September 8, 2016 - Mín leið í gegnum Haugen smakkið (Gamla Bíó): Flottur Bordeaux ilmur. Vínið í góðu jafnvægi. Þroskað, mjúkt og þægilegt. Alvöru vín. Kostar 5.500 kall sem liggur við að sé stuldur! Ég held að ég prófi að kaupa eina svona og athugi hvort að bragðlaukarnir hafi nokkuð verið að stríða mér.

September 2, 2016 - Deep ruby red with red brim. Generous, warm and fruity nose with notes of plums, spices and black currants. Full bodied, warm taste with well integrated tannins and notes of plums, black currants, spices and sandal wood. Obviously a warm vintage, but good!
