April 6, 2019 - This was beaming and it grew for about 5 hours before it was gone. It was by far the best bottle from the case that I have been holding. Maybe this is just my kind of Bordeaux with its old school clay filled, earthyness and coffee notes. The fruit is red and super concentrated and feisty, giving the old stench all the lift it needs to make the old wine fresh and exotic at the same time. Long, bruising finish with lots of tannins...Ways to go...I see this getting better and better. 95-96 today and 96+ in the future. Drink or HOLD

April 2, 2019 - Dinner at Imperial Treasure Fine Teochew Cuisine. Dark purple colour. Plummy, generously fruited but not heavy. Notes of balsamic vinegar. Low acidity, well balanced. Silky tannins, very smooth. This wine is drinking well now and is a perfect example of the appeal of the Right Bank in a good year, as a pair for Chinese cuisine.

February 13, 2019 - Similar to last notes. Decanted only one hour this time to give it a little more structure and this worked out well. Very smooth, velvet like tannins and a Wine you don’t want to end. Excellent structure and a wonderful melding of Merlot and Cab Franc. Down to my last bottle. The Wine is for sure in the “plateau phase” so I don’t see a benefit of additional aging.

February 9, 2019 - Amazing balance with 2 hours decanting! Velvety structure. Complex but smooth with dark fruit and earthiness nose. Good 30 second finish. Start to drinking well.

January 25, 2019 - Decanted 2 hours. Very good bottle. 2 hours in the decanter were perfect. Ready to drink and still has many years left. 93(-) pts.
