October 5, 2019 - Nice wine, no formal notes. Ageer with mr. T. Five this a lot of Airtime. I decanted this for over two hours which proved to short.

August 15, 2019 - Right bank 2000s are really starting to hit their stride, and for myself this is the best Canon La Gaffeliere drinking at present. It has entered its prime drinking window, but still benefits from extended aeration. The nose is beautifully aromatic and opulent with red cherry, plum and flora. The tannin has softened on the palate but has retained a decent bite, and there is good depth and balance. As noted by another reviewer, the finish does not quite match the rest of the wine, but it is still a decent length with excellent balance.

July 27, 2019 - In a great place. Perhaps a touch short on finish, otherwise perfect.
