Community Tasting Notes 2

August 7, 2020 - Similar to my 2018 note with less green on the nose. Slightly less evolved, more spicy notes and flavors and less earth/mushrooms. Still a nice wine. Unfortunately my last bottle. Will hold here for years, probably until 2030.

February 18, 2018 - Very nicely aged burg. Slight orange-brown on edge, but otherwise looked pretty young. Nose was all dirt, red fruits, mushroom, and rotted vegetation. Medium/light body, moderate tannins still hanging around to give some structure with good acidity. Strong red fruits (black cherry) with a tangy sour edge, middle was all earthy goodness, light minty finish dominated by red fruits. Great showing for this humble 1er. Should be fine for a few more years.
