January 6, 2022 - Was a little disappointed in what this wine should be. Lacked full body in my opinion. Perhaps still too young.

December 29, 2021 - Honey, nuts, apricot, and pear on the complex nose. Good acidity with almost glycerine mouthfeel and notes of orange, honey, tart stone fruit, and boytritis. The finish is really long. Outstanding wine!

December 11, 2021 - Relatively pale yellow gold let’s you know this is not one of the massive Yquems. The botrytis is more delicate and the fruit more in the yellow than orange range. Acidity is a bit too high for the concentration so that one glass is enough but it’s enjoyable now.

November 27, 2021 - Excellent. From 375, PnP. Profound example of D’Yquem from a great vintage

November 19, 2021 - 1986 Bordeaux plus some supplements (Restaurant Brunnenstube, Beinstein): From 1/1 bottle. Not decanted. Tasted blind. Clear, medium amber color. Classic Sauternes nose, lots of botrytis, nail polish remover, fans out with temperature and air and gets more complex.
On the palate again classic Sauternes, but lacks the depth, tension, excitement and complexity I usually admire in great Yquem. There was also an unusual stickiness on the palate, that I never had in Yquems before. And the wine was not served too warm.. Nevertheless, the finish is wonderful defined and very, very long. Very good, but far from being great. 91-92
