June 21, 2019 - Medium gold. Smoke, candied sugar, dried fruit, botrytis. I wished for a bit more acidity. Good but not a stunner.

April 19, 2019 - This bottle needed 2 hours of decant. Initially the nose was very petrolium with some honey and apricot. AFter some time the Petrolium note disapated and the wine began to open up showing notes of honey, apricot and peach. While this bottle of d'yquem was not as outstanding as the 83 or the 90 it is still a beautiful wine worth the d'yquem name.

April 1, 2019 - Wanted to give this a much bigger score but there was a slight Sherry type after taste which wasn’t pleasant, cork wasn’t great and perhaps a slightly faulty bottle, great shame as only one and had heard great things....amazing colour. Anyone had similar experience?

Tasted with 1995 which very good and the always excellent 1990.

January 19, 2019 - 1986 Left Bank Bordeaux: Caramel and spices, complex nose with some varnish; full bodied, smooth --- but with balancing acidity, extremely long, complexity in tons.

Fabelaktig avslutning.
