March 4, 2019 - My second Cayuse Viognier I have had the chance to taste. This one was very similar to the 2015 that I tried before in its floral aromas. Honeysuckle being the most prevalent. It was lacking almost all fruit aromas while possessing the signature concrete aging aromas. Very mineral palate. Reminiscent of a dry Condrieu but not as full bodied.

August 15, 2014 - Not a big Viognier drinker so discount this as you see fit. Not as thick as others I've tasted, but has nice weight and body. Clean river bed stone streak with white peach and flower petals. Has a somewhat pretty profile, but still has structure and length. Some heat going on which throws me, but not offensive. Nice effort.

May 2, 2014 - Popped and poured. Gorgeous honey yellow with a little of the viscosity that I enjoy from rhone whites. Initial aromas of white peaches, apricots, flowers, and a smidge of fennel. A nice voluptuousness without being flabby (more Anna Nicole Smith than Melissa McCarthy) with some dried pineapple, citrus, and casaba. I really like where Cayuse is going with their viognier. 91 pts.
